Spring Run – Kapiti

Sanson – Upokongaro – Bushy Park Whanganui

Join us for the first month of Spring.  Meet at Woolshed Café for breakfast/coffee from 9:30am (giving folk extra time as it’s quite a drive to the meeting point) then allowing an hour for breakfast or late comers for coffee (10am) before setting off at around 10:30am.  Our lunch destination is Behind the Door on 4 café in Upokongaro, there is a good selection of cabinet food or choose from the menu. 

Taranaki MX5 club has been invited to join us, so come along and meet some keen MX-5’ers; they have a similar distance from Hawera to our meet spot in Sanson as the Wairarapa cars.  Given the distance to travel home, visiting Bushy Park has been added on as an option after lunch, is it approx. 30 minutes drive from Upokongaro.  For anyone that has not yet visited Bushy Park, it’s a real treat for bird lovers and photographers. 

There will be some run sheets available on the day.

Please indicate when you RSVP if you are joining us for breakfast at Sanson and numbers expected for lunch.  Both are popular cafés so we need to confirm numbers by Wednesday 16 September.
