Event overview
After a 6 hour + drive in June – let’s take it easy this month. July is a shorter expedition with a visit to a model railway (out in the bush by Mount Bruce) followed by lunch at a pleasant winery / café.
Breakfast @ Aston Norwood Café (Kaitoke): 8:45am
Departure: 9:30am (to Masterton – with maybe some side roads)
For those in the Wairarapa that don’t want to go over the Remutakas twice, we can arrange a meetup point along the way – just let me (Rob Sinclair) know.
Pit stop @ Henley Lake Park, Masterton (Public toilets @ Colombo Road entrance): 10:30am
Drive out to Middleton Model Railway (Mt Bruce, near ANZAC Bridge) via Mauriceville back roads. Entry fee: $10 per person.
Lunch back in North Masterton @ Wingate Lane Café
